Web design and development in Malaysia

This is the site people read before they decide whether to contact you. We design it, structure it so the important things are easy to find, and build it to load quickly and work properly on a phone — which is where most of your visitors are.

You might need this if

  • Your site was built years ago and nobody can edit it any more
  • It looks acceptable on a laptop and falls apart on a phone
  • People call to ask questions the site should already answer
  • It is slow, and you have been told that is just how it is
  • You cannot be found for the thing you actually do

What this usually covers

  • Design, from the structure of the pages down to how they read on a phone
  • Writing, or working with what you have until it says the right thing
  • The build itself, server-rendered so a search engine sees real content
  • Technical search work — titles, structure, speed, structured data
  • Forms and enquiries that reach a real inbox and are hard to spam
  • A way for your team to change the content without calling us

A site is judged in about a second, on a phone, on mobile data

Most business sites are designed on a fast machine on a good connection and then visited on neither. The result is a site that the people who commissioned it think is fine and that visitors quietly leave.

So the phone is where we design first and where we test, and speed is treated as part of the design rather than something to look at afterwards. A page that takes four seconds to appear has already lost the argument.

Where a site stops and software starts

A website tells people about your business. Someone reads it, and usually that is the whole interaction. The content is the point.

A web application is something people log into and do work in — bookings, records, approvals, reports. It is built, tested and maintained differently because the consequences of it failing are different.

Plenty of businesses need both, and the line between them is not always obvious at the start. We will tell you which one your problem actually is, and we build either.

How it works

  1. 01

We work out what the site has to do

Who is arriving, what they are trying to find out, and what you want to happen next. That decides the structure before anything is designed.

  2. 02

We design and write it together

Layout and words at the same time, because a page designed around copy that does not exist yet has to be redesigned when it does.

  3. 03

We build it, test it and launch it

Built to be fast and crawlable, checked on real phones, then launched — with a way for you to keep it up to date.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

  1. 01

What is the difference between this and web application development?

A website is something people read. A web application is something people work in — they log in, enter and change information, and come back to it. If your visitors need an account, this is probably the wrong page and web application development is the right one. If they need to understand what you do and get in touch, this is it.

  2. 02

Can we update the site ourselves afterwards?

Yes. We set up the content so your team can change text, add pages and publish without needing us. What we do not do is hand over a system so flexible that the design falls apart the first time someone uses it.

  3. 03

    Do you handle the writing?

We can. Most businesses have the right information and no time to shape it. We work from what you already say to customers rather than inventing claims about your business, and anything we cannot verify does not go on the page.

  4. 04

Will this help us show up on Google?

The technical side is part of the build — clean structure, real server-rendered content, fast pages, correct titles and structured data. That is what a search engine needs to read the site properly. It is not the same as promising a ranking, which nobody can honestly do.

  5. 05

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do — the code, the content, the domain and the hosting account. It is written into the agreement before work starts, so the site can be moved or maintained by anyone else at any point.

Is your site doing anything for the business?

Send us the address and tell us who you want it to reach. We will tell you what is getting in the way.
