Mingle

Mingle is a Mediterranean and Thai eatery and poolside in Phuket. It asked us to design a website around what makes it different.

The site is built around the idea in its name: Mediterranean and Thai cooking mingling at one table. A welcoming headline, hand-drawn illustration and a clear split into breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks give it the character of a place you want to stay, not a listing to scroll past.

  • The top of the Mingle homepage: the logo and menu above the headline “Come sit with us”, a Book Now button and a line drawing of people seated at a long table, with a photograph of the dining room beginning beneath it.
  • The Our Menus section of the Mingle site: an orange panel with hand-drawn breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks illustrations and a See our menus button, above two photographs of the restaurant’s interior and terrace.
  • The Mingle homepage on a phone: the logo and menu, the headline “Come sit with us”, a hand-drawn cocktail, a Book now button and a photograph of the dining room.
The Our Menus section of the Mingle site on a phone: a stack of menu cards for Breakfast and Lunch, each with a hand-drawn illustration.
  • The kitchen team section of the Mingle site: an illustrated head chef beside a short profile, above four illustrated portraits of the sous chef, chef de partie, kitchen assistant and commis chef.
  • The Let’s Mingle contact section: a Book now button with the restaurant’s address, phone and email beside a line drawing of a laid table, above a map showing its location in Phuket.
